It is one of the interesting trek in the Region of Annaupurna and can be seen Himalayan view like Mt. Machharpuchhre (Fish-Tail) on the first day-Trip to Dhampus. To get to Dhompus, it is about one and half hours drive from Pokhara and about three and half hours of jungle walk and some village as well.
Except Mt. Machhapuchhre, you can see all the Annapurna ranges in fine weather. On the trail you’ll mostly find Gurung ethnic as the major habitant. Then on the last day of the trek, you will be brought to the place called Sarangkot with an elevation of 1592m. from Sarangkot, you can have a nice view of whole Pokhara valley wit its major attraction Phewa Lake. |
