The tour begins with your arrival in Paro, where you will be transferred to your hotel. Journey onward to Punakha via the Dochula Pass, enjoying panoramic views of the Himalayas along the way. In Punakha, visit the majestic Punakha Dzong and nearby Chimi Lhakhang, known as the fertility temple, before returning to Paro for final sightseeing at Paro Dzong and the National Museum. Itineraries

Arrive at Paro International Airport and clear customs & immigration. Meet our representative and transfer to Thimphu (Approx. 1.5 hours drive). Enjoy an evening stroll around Thimphu city to soak in the local culture.

Overnight at Hotel Pedling, Thimphu.

  1. Visit the Memorial Chorten, a stupa built in memory of the Third King.
  2. Explore Zilukha Nunnery, home to Buddhist nuns practicing meditation.

  3. See the unique Takin Sanctuary, where Bhutan’s national animal, the Takin, resides.

  4. Visit the Indigenous Hospital for traditional Bhutanese medicine insights.

  5. Learn about Bhutanese crafts at the Textile Museum and Heritage Museum.

  6. Explore the Traditional School of Arts & Crafts, where young artists train in painting, sculpture, and woodcraft.
